Come and be part of an exciting and informative education hui in West Auckland title: "Access and Aspirations for All, Local people, local learning, local jobs". By combining expertise via learning communities we can create community clusters that take responsibility for effective learning. Keynote speakers include Lesley Longstone, the new secretary for Education, Jenny Oxley, CEO of Manaiakalani and Maria Paenga from MITE (Maori into Tertiary Education). There will be a choice of workshops based on growing early learning, enhancing schooling achievement, growing our young people, growing our skills and employability, and supporting adult learning and strengthening family learning/literacy.
